Bowman Bay on Fidalgo Island, which is part of Deception Pass State Park, is a truely awesome place to go kayaking. As a beginner or even a more experienced kayaker you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of kayaking with knowledgeable guides from Anacortes Kayak Tours. All of the guides I have met were college students or recent graduates who have a love for the outdoors and the water.
They are enthusiastic and a lot of fun to go kayaking with. They will give you some brief instruction. A little kayaking 101 and then off you go, as they guide you on an hour and a half trip around Bowman Bay past Coffin Rocks (There is a story there but I'll let your guide share that with you) to see the Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles and some Jelly Fish.

I have been taking this trip for 5 years now. I've taken my wife, my parents, and several friends, each and everytime is a differant expereiance.
